Vote by mail is a very dangerous idea
I fancy myself as a bit of an expert on election fraud – at least a knowledgeable person. On two occasions, I was involved with civic organizations that fought against flagrant vote fraud in Chicago. I have seen every trick in the book – and it is a thick book. Chicago was a good place to learn because the Democrat machine was the state-of-the-art in stealing elections. I experienced it personally when I ran in the Republican primary for Mayor of Chicago because 42 percent of the GOP votes for mayor evaporated – but that is a story for another time.
I was able to delay the use of punch cards by demonstrating to then-Mayor Jane Byrne how easy it was to cast fraudulent ballots or easily destroy ballots – or make them just disappear. Election fraud was so rampant in the major Democrat precincts that more than once we had to have federal marshals come to Chicago to serve as polling place monitors. It was commonly believed that the Chicago machine could “flip” 100,000 votes without breaking into a sweat.
You may have heard one of the great liberal lies – what my grandfather would call “a whopper” before Burger King stole the term. They claim that there is no such thing as vote fraud. Never happens. It is just a myth. So sayeth people like Democrat National Chairman Tom Perez and CNN personality Chris Cuomo.
That is one of the traits of authoritarians – the audacious lies. Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin and even North Korean god-king Kim Jong-un claim they are the product of free elections.
There are certain things one must understand about election fraud.
- It is most prevalent in major cities where Democrats exert essentially one-party rule.
- It is very difficult to detect – especially when one party does the monitoring.
- It is very difficult to successfully prosecute vote fraud when the ruling party controls the prosecutorial offices and the courts.
- That some voting policies and procedures are more vulnerable to fraud than others.
The safest and most honest elections occur when voters are required to personally appear – with a picture ID — at a polling place that is monitored by legitimate representatives of both major parties – and even third parties. I use the word “legitimate” because too many polling places in urban centers are monitored by Democrats and Democrats taking on the legally designated Republican positions.
That is where vote-by-mail comes in. Even when mailing a ballot was limited to a very few “absentee” voters – and when it was illegal to use that option without good cause (infirmity, business travel and military service) – the most serious standardized election abuses were with those absentee ballots.
That is because those ballots can be easily intercepted going to the voter and coming from the voter. They can then travel outside and protective guardrails. Nursing homes were particularly vulnerable because Democrat precinct hacks round up requests for ballots from the residents and receive them when the actual ballots arrived. In many cases, the political operative would fill out the ballot and send it in.
Such ballots would be cast by people with a mental incapacity to make sound judgments. Some residents would not even know that they voted. And of course, having died was no barrier to voting. It is arguable that limited absentee balloting – even though more vulnerable to political mischief – has a greater upside than downside. But expanding the practice – with its vulnerability – to the widest scale puts our entire elections in the hands of political manipulators – crooks.
Voting the dead is standard operating procedure. That is why you see such reluctance by Democrat officials to purge the rolls of dead people – or even people who moved away. To the political machines, those folks are still potential voters.
President Trump said that if we had vote-by-mail Republicans would not win future elections. Of course, he exaggerates. But it is true that the beneficiary of vote fraud was … and is … the Democratic Party. Hell, it is widely accepted that President Kennedy was elected President of the United States because of massive vote fraud by the Daley machine in Chicago and the Lyndon Johnson machine in Texas. If the votes in those states had been counted honestly, Kennedy would not have been elected. If political chicanery can flip a presidential election, you can imagine how easy it is to steal some local office.
Early voting is not a terribly good idea for a lot of reasons, but at least folks have to show up. The key to preventing vote stealing is to have honest representatives of all interests as observers.
Other reforms that work to the advantage of those dedicated to vote fraud because they are less safe – more prone to vote fraud. They include same-day-registration, provisional ballots, vote-by-computer (smart phone), no-ID-needed.
These are all sold on the basis that they increase the number of voters. That is debatable – and not substantiated in the few studies that exist. But it is certain that those reforms open the doors more widely to vote fraud.
In all the negotiations, court cases and debates I have been involved in with my Democrat counterparts, I have not seen one instance in when they have ever proposed or accepted a reform that more tightly sealed the backdoors to corruption.
It does not take much research to dismiss the bogus claims of the Democrats that there is no such thing as vote fraud.
The issue of vote-by-mail has resurfaced because of the Covid-19 virus. The claim it would be safer on the health of the individual. Maybe in the current extreme case we have today – and the controversy over the just completed Wisconsin primary. But vote-by-mail is an existential threat to the health of the Republic.

I think that voter fraud is small. I didn’t say it doesn’t exist, just that it is not as prevalent as you seem to believe. If voting via US mail is good and safe enough for the President, it is good and safe enough for me. The ONLY reason a person’s name should be removed from voter rolls is that that person Is dead. I have heard of cases in Georgia where a voter’s name was removed because he/she had not voted in many of any elections. If they weren’t dead, their name should still be on the rolls. I have voted in every election since I was 21(the voting age at the time). I personally think it’s my civic duty. During these trying times, it seems that voting via mail is the most prudent course. Also, the Postal Service needs the money.
More of the lies by the new trump party. There has been one voter fraud case during the 2018 elections and that was by republicans in NC district 9. I can state the fact of fraud by republicans, now show me the case against the democrats, or shut it. Only a fool will keep falling for the tactics you guys keep promoting, about voter fraud.
Totally believable and today’s Democrats are the most scandalous group that have no decency whatever for a fair election because the people don’t want or trust them. So their votes are either discarded or bogus votes are created. True elections must be done in America because Democrats have no morals and cheat to get their way. How childish and unpatriotic- they have to be looked after like childish brats and want to fraudulently impose their will by taking Soros “fat boy” money.
The same voting fraud happens in Michigan – Both NWO agenda criminals : Sen . Stabenow & Gov. Whitmer claimed victory only mere minutes after the polls closed at 8 pm with only 31% of precincts in ! So 69% of Michigan votes disappeared while only the liberal precincts got “counted” , And republicans didn’t get the opportunity to challenge the fraudulent results .
My wife requested an absentee ballot. She received a return envelope but no ballot. She hopes whoever uses her ballot knows how she wanted to vote.
I have been an election judge, poll watcher and worked on many campaigns. I am a registered Republican living in a very blue state-Illinois.

I witnessed so many violations, either out of ignorance or deliberateness. Election fraud is very real.
Interesting article, so let’s look at the other side. Gerrymandering, a Republican stronghold, sine it was “invented”. How is it that District lines are somehow routed to either encompass large Republican areas, with a very visible minority that generally vote Democratic? How about the Districts that look like “snakes”, or (most famously) “ducks (I’m talking to you , Ohio!)In many states, gerrymandering is so prevalent that the courts have had to go in and Force the Legislatures to redraw, and in many cases, several times, and always under protest by Republicans. Even more appalling is the current situation in Wisconsin, where the Republican controlled Legislature, and the Republican controlled Supreme Court voted to disallow the delay of the primary, along with extremely limited polling places, and reduced hours. It was interesting to not that there were plenty of places for Republicans to vote, yet limited places for Democrats. So, get off your high horse and stop bytching about vote by mail, when gerrymandering and other methods are used openly to prevent voters to access their Constitutional right to vote for whoever they want to.
I don’t think mail voting would be good at all. There is to many ways for cheating. We have an awful of people that would use this way and never get caught.
Voting by mail is playing into the hands of the treason filled Democratic Party and will lead this country into the abys of civil war.I will never back any official elected by mail.I would rather see voting delayed or extended to 2 days even if I have to stand in the rain!The Democratic Party is the enemy to all US citizens who believe in The Constitution.
We’re talking about individual voters voting on a ballot and sent in by mail. I don’t think you can get any more secure than that. not talking about switching thousands of votes using electronic ballots. Yeah maybe Kennedy was elected by a crooked democratic machine in Chicago in 1960 but tell us about Bush in Florida in 2000. That one is fresh in our memories and you know it.
Here where I live in Daphne, Alabama a full picture ID is required in order to vote. I have worked the polls for about 6 years. We use tablets. All registered voters in out county are loaded into the system. It i automatically goes to the probate for final tabulation. They give me their ID, drivers license, military ID, passport or other picture ID. It is scanned and it automatically pulls up the person. It tells us the name, address and voting 0location. It gives them the opportunity to choose Democrat or Republican. They mark which one and sign their name. They are given a paper ballot that they fill out. It is fed into a machine that reads their ballot. When it is complete it falls into the locked machine and tells you that you have successfully voted. They then receive a sticker with a flag on it that have I Voted on it. At the end of the night it prints out the totals of all votes for each nominee. Four workers have to sign each tally. The paper ballots are boxed, sealed and labeled. The tablets are all broken down and out in their cases and locked. A Sheriff’s deputy then loads all voting tablets, boxed paper ballots, provisional ballots and any corrections to voting and takes it all to the probate. It is all locked and signed out. We have never had anyone vote until they are verified.
