Biden Policies Push Allies Away

Biden Policies Push Allies Away

The weak left-wing of American politics has gained decision-making power over our land and is already beginning to play the classic passive Democrat role on the world stage. Biden began his presidency by overruling all the hardy foreign policy agreements President Trump had put in pain-staking hours to achieve for our nation.

The players most menacing are China and Russia, but not directly. Instead, they use their client states to shake our democracy. To keep their fingers squeaky-clean within the international media, China acts through North Korea and Russia through Iran.

Biden is choosing to deal with our adversaries by following President Theodore Roosevelt’s practice of speaking softly. However quite unlike Roosevelt, Biden has no big stick to carry.

With the return of a democrat controlled White House, Chairman Kim has once again taken to occupy his attention with his international nuclear missiles. To curtail Kim’s predilections to taunt the U.S., Trump used stout policies to control China’s attempts to consolidate power and use unfair trade practices.

Genocide of the Uighur people, quashing democracy in Hong Kong, erecting military islands in the South China Sea, and posturing for a forcible ‘reunification’ with Taiwan are instances of Beijing’s intent to increase the might of China. Hacking is the latest method used for theft of technical and defense research.

Frustratingly Biden counters these actions by simply choosing not to act. Opposition to takeover in Hong Kong has been voiced, but no action is intended. Taiwan signed us to a defense agreement, but no defense is intended.

Trump took control of the Iranian nuclear program, yet one of Biden’s first moves was to reestablish the single-sided agreement and is now planning to relax sanctions as well. Iran has responded by accelerating nuclear enrichment.

Trump’s forceful response to Moscow stopped Russian military drills in Crimea, thus hindering the capture Ukraine. The inept foreign policies of the Biden administration again prompt our adversaries to move forward, this time exemplified by Russia’s return of a mass military force to the Ukrainian border.

A potentially far more dangerous effect of this incompetence is the tension put on allied relations. Fear of negative impact from Biden’s inaction could open diplomatic and commercial channels with China and Russia. We have neglected old ties with many countries of Africa for decades, countries now becoming amiable to listen to Chinese and Russian plans of development. Biden’s administration has continued to disregard these changes.

The same neglect occurs in South America, with Venezuela as an example. As of far Biden has chosen not to reaffirm the denunciation of President Nicolas Maduro, leaving his deceitful hold on the country intact.

Alarmingly, NATO partners are also being pursued by China and Russia. Even though the U.S. is NATOs chief source of military and financial backing, allies are looking for the most profitable international relationships.  Russia’s economy received a big boost by signing Germany to a gas and oil deal.

The big message here is that as Biden showers attention on his behemoth domestic spending programs and ignores international affairs, the world around us is being pursued by foreign foes. Looking back decade from now, this lack of leadership could be a larger threat to U.S. security than the pandemic.

  1. I’M totality amazed at the success President Trump had in his tenue as President of our country. I use the word amazed because in my over eighty-three on Gods green earth, serving in the military twice after being called back account of the Berlin Crisis I’ve never seen any president go through as much hell as him and come out of it with his head held high. Everyone with any since at all, Democrat or Republican alike knows the election was stolen and my friends the truth will shortly come to life. I predict this to take place within a year or year and a half.
