Which is More Dangerous – Michael Bloomberg Running for President or Not Running?

  29 Mar 2019

Last week, former Texas state congressman Beto O’Rourke announced that he is running for the Democratic nomination for president for the 2020 election. O’Rourke narrowly lost his 2018 bid to take the Senate seat of Ted Cruz. O’Rourke has some very radical views that make him a huge threat to America. He wants to see voting rights given to all non-citizens including illegal aliens. He also is touting radical environmental policies, claiming that we only have 12 years to stop man-made climate change or human life on earth will end.

O’Rourke is one of 15 Democrats that have announced their candidacy for president. The other 14 are Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, John Delaney, Tulsi Gabbard, Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, John Hickenlooper, Jay Inslee, Amy Klobuchar, Wayne Messam, Elizabeth Warren and Marianne Williamson.

Then there is Bernie Sanders, who is currently still an Independent. However, he was an Independent prior to his presidential bid in 2016. He knew as an Independent that he stood no chance and would not be included in most primary elections, so he changed to the Democratic Party and will probably do the same thing again for his 2020 bid.

Many other Democrats have indicated interest in running for the White House in 2020, but have not officially declared. At the beginning of the year, there were about 200 or more Democrats expressing interest in running. Among them is former Vice President Joe Biden, who got the liberal sewage stream media excited when he made a slip of the tongue over the weekend.

Another Democrat who was interested in a 2020 White House run is former New York City, Mayor Bloomberg. However, Bloomberg ended the speculation earlier this month when he announced that he was not running.
Is that a good thing?

At first, I thought so. After all, Bloomberg is probably the most anti-gun and anti-Second Amendment Democrat in the country. His passionate hatred for guns is so strong that it would not be a big surprise to have seen him try to use an executive order to ban private gun ownership, had he run for president and won.

Having him not running is a breath of fresh air, but then the realization of his not running took some of that breath away.

Michael Bloomberg is rated to be the 8th richest person in America with a net worth of about $55.5 billion. Ever since leaving the New York’s mayor’s office (Dec. 31, 2013), he has been using millions of his own dollars to help finance the campaigns of anti-gun Democrats at the state and federal level around the nation. He has also used his money to help fund the promotion and passage of a number of gun control laws in a number of states.

Additionally, Bloomberg has helped create and finance anti-gun organizations like Every Town for Gun Safety, Mayors Against Illegal Guns and March For Our Lives. Had Bloomberg run for president and won, he couldn’t continue to support these anti-gun groups financially nor could he continue to help finance anti-politicians and pieces of legislation. Not running for president allows him to use his wealth to continue to finance the anti-gun efforts around the nation.

Which is more dangerous to law-abiding citizens? It’s hard to say, but realize that Michael Bloomberg is a very dangerous man for everyone who values their constitutional rights.
