Elizabeth Warren Says Her Medicare For All Covers Illegal Aliens

Far-left 2020 presidential hopeful Elizabeth said at a town hall on November 8th that her proposed $52 trillion ‘Medicare for All’ plan will cover illegal immigrants.

The Massachusetts senator, speaking in Raleigh, North Carolina at a “Latinx town hall’, said that her plan – that would see the government take control of the healthcare industry – would also cover the estimated 11-29 million illegal immigrants in the country.

One town hall attendee asked Warren: “We know that you have included undocumented people in your plans to provide Medicare for All, so my question is why did you decide to include people regardless of immigration status, and would this include obtaining subsidies like the ACA’s—Affordable Care Act’s—affordability subsidies?”

“Would you also support access to the children’s health insurance program without regard to immigration stuff?” the man added.

Warren promptly responded by enthusiastically praising the question, before she happily confirmed that her Medicare for All Plan would indeed cover ‘everyone’, including those who are in the country illegally.

“I’m really glad you asked this. Medicare for All, as I put this together, covers everyone, regardless of immigration status, and that’s it,” Warren said.

Warren’s $52 trillion plan has prompted widespread criticism, including from members of her own party like Joe Biden. Despite there being a few dissenting voices within the increasingly far-left dominated Democratic party, the vast majority of other contenders for the nomination have said that their healthcare plans would also cover illegal immigrants.

Senator Warren has previously stated that her agenda to give amnesty to all 11 to 22 million illegal aliens would help pay for her Medicare for All plan. So far, she’s failed to explain how exactly that would work.

Last Friday, Warren also stated that she’s in favor of stopping deportations of illegal immigrants as a way to pressure lawmakers into passing “comprehensive immigration reform.”

“I support immigration reform that’s consistent with our values, including a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants and expanded legal immigration consistent with my principles,” Warren said.

“That’s not only the right thing to do – it also increases federal revenue we can dedicate to Medicare for All as new people come into the system and pay taxes,” the Massachusetts senator added.
